I think this piece is paradoxical in its time period; although modern it can evoke feelings for the watcher of both historical and contemporary memories. This art piece to me reminds me of both alien contemporary; and earthly origins in that it looks like an earth stone/mineral cut in half (reminding me of personal memories visiting the Ulster Museum as a small child)

I feel like science also plays a huge part in this piece. It's self explanatory and by the end of finishing this critique it's fair to say I will feel a sense of catharsis!

All in all, very calming. A state of meditation is evoked in this piece and I find that brave to create. Imaginative and powerful, well done!
